<p>The Covenant School Parents' Association is a vital organization that supports and enhances our school community! Our enthusiastic volunteers provide the school with an organized structure of manpower and fundraising support. All Covenant parents are members of the Parents' Association and can join in on the fun! Annual dues of $15 are optional and are collected during the back to school period with your first tuition statement. Dues help us fund special events like the Back to School Picnic.</p>

<p>&nbsp;<a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/auction-a-night-of-knights">A Night of Knights</a>- A legion of spirited volunteers and generous, imaginative donors provide the Covenant family a delightful evening together, while supporting our school. </p>
<p><u>Back to School Picnic</u>- Volunteers coordinate this fun all school event where families join together to kick off the new school year.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents/parents-association/fall-fundraiser/index.php">Fall Fundraiser</a>- Held in early October, the Fall Fundraiser offers Entertainment Books, Ugly Mug Coffee and Sally Foster and fun prizes!</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/book-fair/">Book Fair</a>- Held in early November, the Book Fair provides our school library and classrooms new reading materials in this annual event.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/booster-store/">Booster Store</a>- Our parent-run Booster Store features school spirit clothes as well as uniform-approved shirts, jackets and sweatshirts, during special events on campus.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/shop-earn/">Shop &amp; Earn</a>- Quick Cash for Covenant! Volunteers coordinate the collection of General Mills Box Tops for Education and encourage shopping at grocery stores that donate dividends to the school.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/field-day/">Field Day</a>-&nbsp;The name says it all: FUN! Volunteers help organize games and races for students while everyone enjoys a wonderful day!</p>
<p><u>Hospitality</u> - Parents assist in providing food and beverage and serving as hostesses for several school events like Admissions Open House and Grandparents Day.</p>
<p><u>Library and Art Helpers</u>- Spend an hour in the library or art-room assisting our enrichment teachers with special projects.<br /></p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents/lunch-menu-and-helpers/">Lunchroom Helpers</a>- Volunteers lend a hand with opening milk-cartons and collecting trays during lunch period.</p>
<p><u>Moms in Prayer</u>- Moms gather monthly on campus to encourage each other and support our school community in prayer.</p>
<p><u>New Parent Dinner</u>- Current parents help welcome new Covenant parents to the school at this fun evening held in August.</p>
<p><u>Room Mothers and Coordinator</u>- Assisting teachers with parties and field trips, each classroom has one Room Mother. The Room Mother Coordinator provides direction overall. </p>
<p><u>School Productions</u>- Be a part of the finest production in town! Help with costuming and sets for our special musical programs: Thanksgiving, Christmas and Grandparents Day!</p>
<p><u>Sunshine</u>- Providing encouragement to those in our school community during difficult and joyful times with a loving response to needs.</p>
<p><u>Teacher Appreciation</u>- Providing a special lunch four times a year to our teachers and staff shows our appreciation for their dedication. Volunteers also help celebrate our enrichment teacher birthdays and other special occasions.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thecovenantschool.com/parents-association/uniform-sale/">Uniform Sale</a>-&nbsp;A great way to recycle outgrown uniform clothing! Volunteers organize the sale to help families defray uniform costs.</p>

<p><em>New this year</em>: <u>Business Sponsorship Opportunities</u>!</p>
<p>Do you have a business that may benefit from connecting with Covenant School familes while supporting the school and <em>A Night of Knights </em>Auction in the process?</p>
<p>The Auction Committee has developed a <u>sponsorship program </u>with a choice of four levels offering a number of benefits to spotlight your business. We desire to connect Covenant School families, through this program, by allowing you to get the word out about your business. </p>
<p>The Auction Committee is now <u>seeking unique and exciting&nbsp;items </u>for our silent and live auction!&nbsp; We know among our parents and faculty, there are many hidden treasures and talents. Book Character Day is the highlight, with every student dressed as their favorite children's literature character. Muffins for Mom and Donuts for Dad gives everyone a special chance to participate! </p>
<p>The school acquires books&nbsp;several different ways:</p>
<ul>
<li>Books&nbsp;can be&nbsp;purchased by shoppers and donated&nbsp; directly&nbsp;to the school library</li>
<li>Books can be donated to a particular classroom or donate&nbsp;any amount of money for&nbsp;a teacher to&nbsp;buy classroom books, from the teacher's wish list</li>
<li>All purchases at the book fair earn the school credits towards the purchase of additional books for the school library</li></ul>
<p>Bookplate dedications&nbsp;may be&nbsp;placed in books purchased&nbsp;for the school, making lasting memories for Covenant School families. Books&nbsp;may be donated&nbsp;in honor of&nbsp;family, friends, teachers, grandparents or any other special person!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>NEW THIS YEAR!&nbsp; Student Council <em><strong>Books for Change </strong></em>project! The Student Council will be collecting spare change during the Fair that will be used to buy books for Glencliff Elementary School. The goal is $300, so start cleaning out your piggy banks and checking those pockets! </p>

<li>&nbsp;Also open during Tuesday morning Church Bible Study and Wednesday night Church Supper</li></ul>
<p><u>Early Bird Gift Certificate Drawing</u>, Monday, November 2 </p>
<ul>
<li>All Book Fair visitors Monday morning can enter to win a $10 Book Fair gift certificate!</li></ul>
<p><u>Muffins for Moms</u>, Monday, November 2, 3:00-3:30 pm</p>
<ul>
<li>Moms plan to stay after school, have a muffin and enjoy the Book Fair with your children!</li></ul>
<p><u>Andrew Peterson</u>, children's author, Tuesday, November 3, 8:00 am </p>
<ul>
<li>Mr. Peterson will visit during chapel to discuss his new book, <u>North or Be Eaten </u>and entertain us with singing.&nbsp;Book signing following chapel. Mr. Peterson will also spend time with the upper school in a young writer's workshop.</li></ul>
<p><u>Donuts for Dad</u>, Thursday, November 5, 7:15 am through chapel</p>
<ul>
<li>Dads are encouraged to visit the Book Fair, enjoy a donut and stay for chapel!</li></ul>

After School&nbsp;Care provides an atmosphere that helps children enjoy their afternoon, while spending their time wisely until parents arrive. Students are given time for a healthy snack, a quiet place for homework, a variety of indoor and outdoor play activities and organized games and crafts.</p>
<p>All After School Care participants must be enrolled by completing an enrollment form:</p>
